Blue Lotus Tea, Yoga of the Voice + Ecstatic Dance

An evening of Blue Lotus tea, voice and divine harmony with the combined artistic efforts of Sema Rae and Flint Blade. Sema Rae, medicine woman and musician will guide us through our first 90 minutes of diving in to our voice and using it without judgements on tone or harmony. Then we'll be set free to let the music guide us as Flint Blade masterfully mixes his own instruments and songs with those of other artists in an ecstatic dance experience.

Our first portion of the evening is an invitation into exploration and experience of “Shabda Brahma” - the Word that is Creator as well as Naad Yoga - yoga of sound. We'll begin this activation with a ceremony to utilize the expansive effect of Blue Lotus Tea on the throat chakra. The journey we embark on starts with the breath and takes us all the way to our limitless potential. We will experience the healing ability of this built in musical instrument we all have; the voice! 

Ecstatic dance is unguided and asks for us to relinquish preexisting notions of what dancing "should" look like. It encompasses all intuitive movement from rotating your wrists and ankles, to sprinting and jumping across the room. Barefoot in a room of non-judgmental dancers, free from the pressure to socialize (we ask for only visceral conversations on the dance floor) or be videod (no cameras/phones on dance floor) we can spend an evening discovering how to utilize our own voices and bodies as tools to remember our oneness with all. 

The joy of singing and dancing together and how it activates divine love and devotion inside of us is the fountain of youth. We will leave glowing and feel prana move and activate our entire being. No singing or dancing experience needed.
